What is the Sleep’n Sound pillow?
If you or one of your children struggle to sleep then this could be the perfect gadget for you. Instead of putting music on that the rest of the family are then disturbed by this is a great alternative to give you a good night’s sleep.
The Sleep’n Sound pillow is a speaker pillow so you can listen to any music you find relaxing whilst falling asleep. It would also be great with an audiobook or you can listen to your favourite podcasts.
It is extremely dangerous to sleep with headphones or earphones on if they are wired. This is due to the risk of strangulation. Whatever your age this is a serious risk.
Alternatively, you could use wireless earphones or headphones. These however would be uncomfortable and they could easily fall out.
Not only that but there is a risk to your safety if there was a fire and you couldn’t hear a smoke alarm. This is why the Sound’n Sleep pillow is perfect with its speaker built-in.
How does this pillow work?
It is really simple to connect this pillow to your device. The pillow itself feels just like a normal pillow and is put into a pillowcase so it is hygienic.
At the corner of the pillow, there is a short wire as you can see in the photo above. This then connects to the longer wire, supplied. Once connected this longer wire simply plugs into the headphone socket of your phone or whatever device you play music on.
If you do not have a headphone jack on your phone don’t panic. There are a number of adapters available for different phones which do not have the headphone jack so you’re likely to be covered.
If you have an iPhone then there are a number of adapters on Amazon from around £5. Phones which use USB C also have adapters easily available on Amazon, these are at a similar price.
